Something that hasn’t been talked about enough that I would give Schiano and A+ on is getting players to buy into the program. Pierce, Powell and Lewis could all transfer to top 25 teams if they wanted to. They are plug and play. I used to think the portal would decimate Rutgers but it really hasn’t. O’Neal was the best player we we lost but that was one season. Ash had players calling him out on social media and Blessaun Austin essentially quit his last season to prepare for the NFL.
