Can someone recap the court club meeting?

Looks like a roster that can compete in the Big 10! Freeman is the key, since he is the only big that can score with his moves on the block. Not expecting Shaquille to score much but if he can hold onto a few of Corey's lasers , maybe he gives you a few baskets per game. Right now the other teams do not need to defend the low post. DJ even when he gets the ball and drives it is not from the block but from the foul line, the wings or the elbow.

Its still the least talented squad overall in the big 10..maybe close with Northwestern

It looks like a team that will try not to finish in the bottom two of the conference. Still only seeing 3-5 conference wins.

How does that logic work at elite schools like Duke where every player is a high school all American? They clearly aren't afraid of competition.
Elite players, such as those that Duke recruits, are wired differently. I've never interviewed a McDonald's All-American who ever said to me, at any time in the recruiting process, that playing time was important to him. They're not afraid to work for it because their self confidence is very high.

Also keep in mind that many of the kids that commit to schools like Duke, North Carolina, & Kansas; do so because it is their "dream school" or because of who the head coach is.

If every single thing goes right. They won't, they never do

"Competing" is great in year 1. In year four you should be priming yourself for an NIT run at minimum.

Hey, Jellyman, you keep saying that Johnson is a 2 and not a 1.

Tell you what, Mr Smartypants, why don't you go check out Nigel Johnson's Twitter account where he captions himself as RUTGERS UNIVERSITY POINT GUARD ? I guess it's up to YOU to tell the kid that he isn't a 1. I mean, you know more about it that he does, right?

Well, yes I do know more ... unless he is not going to start, or unless Sanders is not returning. Otherwise, Sanders will be RU's starting PG. Period.

Maybe that's it.... NJ is mentioning he's a point guard, EJ is talking about how NJ is better than Sanders... maybe they know something we don't about Sanders' status for next year. Hopefully not.

When was the last time someone was called Mr. Smarty Pants on this board?

You have to assume Nigel will.be playing the 2 for as long as Corey is here.

Duke's JV could kick our teams @$$. Out team could barely compete in mediocre AAU play.

Nigel Johnson can play point. He and Sanders can be looked as combo guards. No issue with them playing together and spelling each other with Williams Tripp and Goode in rotation in the back court. Dailey could be a point forward type also.

Hobbs did mention that every little bit counts....big or small. Hear that RU66? As much as the large checks are appreciated the 500 a year checks add up when you have a big group donating.

It would be an accomplishment if our fanbase gave ANY check.

The guy in the paper went in 1.25 mil. I expect you go that large to right Al
That covers 1.25% of the money we need. It's kind of like our Bball team. Good effort but won't get it done.
