Was re-watching the game and the announcers mentioned Stoller and that Brecht said one of the best things was red-shirting him last year. To now have him for the next 4 years will be key.
He's got a chance to be the best goalie in the country and it's not going to take 3 years.
One of the best things about him is his play out of the cage. He picks off passes and gets involved when the ball is on the ground. That's a huge plus. His ball stopping is elite. Consistency is what you worry about with a young guy but his play last week leading into B1G play is great timing.
As we saw with Princeton, a hot goalie really tilts the field in your favor.
They were very close to playing Stoller last year, he was that good.

We get blown out by UMass if not for Stoller. Was an absolute man amongst men in that goalie dual vs the Gorillas.
Let's not forget that last play was a man up opportunity for UMass, and that last shot was a really good open look shot. He blocked it and that was it.
Honestly you can also say we win that game by 8 goals if not for their AA goalie too.
I’m not a big transitive score guy but we held them to their lowest output of the season. They lost by 1 to Army on a neutral site in a high scoring affair. Umass is a tricky team. They play hard and their style is unique. That’s never an easy out.
