It's just what a lot of girls do. They did it with Sinatra and the Beatles too. I don't see why you even needed to bring such silliness up.

If we're being honest, 99.9% of us grew up idolizing athletes, movie stars, or recording artists. For me it was Mantle, Unitas, and Arnie. It's harmless fun.

I just think it's great that young girls today have so many women they can root for and show them there is a place for them if they have the talent and drive.

Tomorrow night will be her 200th appearance for the USNT. I believe that puts her 9th or 10th all time. Quite the accomplishment.
