Carroo

There you go again...the smartest man on the Rutgers site who just LOVES to call people stupid.

There are some shockingly arrogant jerks on this site as well, apparently.

Lord knows 4Real and I have had our differences but he has been more or less a voice of sanity on this issue from time it broke.

What ive heard is that the injuries are a few scratches and the "slam" bullshit was completely unintentional and a result of him pulling one girl off the other and thats it...... the cops asked the girl do you want to go to the hospital and she said yes bc she hit her head and was an emotional mess/shocked.

Like i said, sounds like what happened could happen to anyone who was trying to break up a catfight and that LC wasnt being a woman beater like its trying to be protrayed with the exaggerated police report.

I'd rather be arrogant and be able to pass all the tests, knowwhatImean?

So damn smart, Mr. Smart Guy. Let me guess. 1500 SAT? 1600?

Got in to all the Ivies. SO friggin smart, imbeciles like us can't even fathom the greatness that is your intellect.

We are honored that you take time off from your mensa meetups to showcase your brilliance to all us shockingly stupid people.

Good for you. You can take comfort in knowing how smart you are, and the rest of us will know what an arrogant prick you are.

...and we've got a guy starting another thread stating that he heard it was a friends of Leonte's, and not Leonte himself, who did the deed. At least THIS scenario actually sounds sensible, and would come as somewhat of a, well, "relief" I guess, but at this point I'm still playing "wait-and-see" because, bottom line, LC was arrested and the girl went to the hospital.

People have boxed themselves in on this issue pretty well. We will know soon enough who actually knew something and had real information, and those that thought they knew something but didn't.

Anyone saying "she went to the hospital, so he definitely did (fill in the blank)", needs to go find the closest mirror, and slap yourself silly.

I know people that have gotten into fender benders, that go to the hospital. Does that mean the accident REALLY harmed the person? By some of your logic, then yes. Smh.

I've personally been in a situation along these lines. Crazy drunk woman jumps on my car (not relationship drama). I throw her off my car so I can leave the scene. She goes to

the hospital, then she presses charges against me. (I'm not arrested).

I lawyer up and tell the truth, with witnesses. Judge calls the woman a drunk idiot (not exact words), and the case is dropped. But by the logic of some folks on this board,

since she went to the hospital, I guess that makes me a domestic abuser. Smh.

You guys have a very very big, and still winnable game coming up, yet you're all arguing over something that none of you will be the deciding factors of. Let the people involved

decide the outcome.

These boards used to have some really good FOOTBALL information. Now it's a just a soap opera, albeit very entertaining.

It's good to have a Canes fan among us. He's got all the talking points down cold.

You are all starting to sound like the joebots over on the psu board protecting & making excuses for the guilty

it's embarrassing.
You don't know what happened. Real low class of you to call him guilty until we get more facts.

Not true. Girl was slammed to concrete multiple sources are reporting. Not sure where you are getting your facts.
The multiple sources are reporting that the complaint states he slammed her. In your mind that means it definitely happened? Wasn't a Florida State player recently cleared of any wrongdoing after a complaint was made against him? The answer is yes and he is back on the field. I don't know what happen in Caroo's case and neither do you or the multiple sources.

most times the original story is what turns out to be true. I was not there but I have been hearing the slamming the girl into the pavement story since the whole thing broke, from a source that I consider extremely credible. Granted, he was not there either so who knows how the story gets changed from person to person. Hopefully its an exaggeration of what really happened. I think most of us have had moments we wish we could do over, out of character moments fueled by emotion. Time will tell and this will all shake out, the sooner, the better.

It's good to have a Canes fan among us. He's got all the talking points down cold.
I don't have talking points. I speak the truth and reality to every situation whether it's football, or life. I am not on either side of the Caroo situation. Or any legal matter that I'm not involved. But if you read and actually comprehend any of my posts, you would see that.

Floods actions suspending him were more a product of his worrying about keeping his job over another incident than Caroos culpability

You may want to re-think this one...

(1.) In general, when an incident like this first happens a coach has little choice - there are usually guidelines - and virtually never does (or should) a coach factor in their own personal opinion about the ultimate likely guilt of the player involved in the incident.

(2.) Seriously? of all of the points to criticize about Flood - It would seem to be difficult to find an instance where he made a team decision of this magnitude simply as a result of 'worrying about keeping his job' ... in fact, there have been a few situations where he did just the opposite - much to the frustration of many in the fan base.

One thing is for sure. Caroo never saw the catfight in the movie Undercover Brother. It shows the appropriate male response to a catfight. Would provide a link to youtube but don't know how. Worth 90 seconds of your day and it will get a "rise" out of you.

I like your picture.

Poor kid is doomed to grow up a shockingly stupid person, compared to your great intelligence.
Who could possibly match wits with you?

http://www.northjersey.com/news/rut...nto-concrete-according-to-complaint-1.1410218

the Bergen Record and multiple other media sources are reporting he picked her up and slammed her to the ground. He's football player. Picking up what is likely a pint sized hostess (that assumption based on photos I've seen posted of recruits with hostesses) and slamming her to the ground is probably going to come out as excessive force no matter who he or anyone else thinks he was protecting.

If he listened to the staff in the Hale Center and stayed inside he would not have this problem.
If he kept his dick in his pants to begin with he wouldn't have this problem..

I stick by my "it's embarrassing" comment regarding those trying to make excuses to make this all seem like it's not a problem..
How dare you, my daughter ( who shares my season tickets ) reads this
board, and asks me what does this person mean?
Secondly, you are have saying things, with no more proof of what is going on
than the rest of us. So this guy is guilty because of his &*&^% ?. Sounds
like you have an agenda, so do it on the politics board. How do you know
what he does with his %^^%? The girls had no part in this? the man
caused the problem?

IF this is true in the end (and I know squat what really happened) ..then I hope an awful lot of folks here who have condemned LC come back to make a public apology. I hope they never serve on any jury I hope I never have.

Leonte Carroo has suddenly become a house on the market with a just issued report of a damaged foundation -

How damaged?
- exact answer not known yet - but next to no chance that it will turn out to be an error
... but ... it is off the market for the indefinite future.

Can it be fixed ?
- possibly ... but the 'repair process' is going to take time - likely - months - not days or weeks ... and lots of $$ (high priced legal talent)
- and it can't be used until fully 'repaired' and there is official certification of the legitimacy of the 'repair'

Rutgers & all fans need to adopt the view that Carroo's indefinite suspension essentially will not be resolved for many many months -
- figure that Carroo's legal advisors are almost exclusively focused on finding a a clear path for him to get to the NFL - so if a drawn out 6 month process is required to give him the best possible outcome - so be it ... even if that means that he never takes the field for RU again.
Adopt the mind set that he is gone - if some miracle happens & the legal charges vanish & he can come back - consider it a gift

This is a Leonte Carroo problem .... far more than it is a RU Football problem it was stupid - ill-advised - impulsive but regardless of whether it turns out to be huge or minimal -this is entirely on Leonte

while slightly off topic, i would think that this incident, however is shakes out, is a good teaching lesson for all of our kids (assuming they are age appropriate, i.e., dating).

Here's the problem:

We've heard one story that is pretty much consistent from the beginning then, last night, 2 more "stories" pop up and 1, let's face it, makes no sense at all. This one, well, seems like a "watered-down" version of the initial one, however, there is still a lot out there pointing towards the original version being the correct one. Who knows, and it's unfortunate ANY way you cut it, but I wouldn't be jumping all over versions #2 or 3 "just because," either.

This is why - as someone with very little information on this, from off the boards, or the boards themselves - to qualify my statements very carefully up until now.

how dare I what? use the word "dick"? say he should have kept his dick in his pants? pretty much say he shouldn't be banging 2 girls at the same time?

He was charged with domestic violence. which is a charge when you are involved with someone. if you hit me it's just assault, if my husband hits me (or my hypothetical boyfriend or my friend with benefits) its a domestic violence issue. so I'm not reaching here.

as Nuts said, I have 2 daughters so if that's my "politics" so be it.

are the "girls" at fault? well, yea, my mother always told me that girls don't have fist fights. I've never been in one and neither have my girls. And to my knowledge my 82 year old mother has never been involved in a melee either.

but again, when a 6'1" 215 lb 2% body fat football player who was told by his coaches not to get involved goes out, gets involved and lifts up a girl and throws her to the ground I'm gonna say he's more guilty than her.

yeah..I admit I was pretty guilty of just taking the initial stuff on face value and convicting the guy on the spot. Then started to back off as this thing started to unfold and my balance started to kick in. Feeling like it has started to back off a bit...but definitely time to let the FACTS come out and run its course. And hope for the best (meaning it wasn't as bad as made out to be, not LC gets away with something he shouldn't)

Not that I disagree with the general position of waiting until the actual facts come out and Carroo being suspended in the meantime, but calling him guilty before it's proven so in a court of law is wrong.

Until that day, I'll view this under a context that he was wrong to get involved, but with a healthy skepticism of what actually transpired and its severity.

You are still going by hearsay. The consensus is that he was arrested for
simple assault, not domestic violence. Can we wait until he is found
guilty. Do you have video of him having sex with them. Give me a
break.

Folks, as mentioned thus far, we have heard only from the so called "victim"...so we dont have the facts as of yet other than Carroo was charged with Simple Assault.

However, do note that the following is a fact: the person that filed the complaint has no witnesses corroborating her side of the story. On the other hand, there are over five witnesses that have refused to corroborate her side of the story and that have given their testimony and account of the matter't (dont know if such account directly contradict the so called victim's account). And remember, we have not heard Carroo's side of the story yet. We may hear the other side of the story shortly.

The following is speculation based on what has some RU folks have shared behind doors:

The report from the so called "victim", obviously left out a lot of details; there is no corroboration from medical personnel that she suffered any injuries or that even the bruises came from the alleged altercation with Carroo; the term body slam against the ground is extremely questionable, and that there are grounds to charge the so called victim with assault as well but the likelihood for this to happen is slim for fear of showing favoritism towards Carroo.

I am confident that Carroo will be vindicated. And for me, the priority is Rutgers, but atop all, that justice is served and that personal rights are honored and respected.

OHMYFUKKINGOD

ALL of the media reports taken directly from conversations and information obtained from the RUPD have ascertained that he was "involved" with both of the young women in question and he was absolutely arrested for "Simple Assault under Domestic Violence".

If you're going to argue with people, the least you could do is not waste everyone's time and pay attention.

So Carroo's family didn't back up his side piece, and sided with him?
Stop the presses here...
