I don't think I've seen something so absurd. I wish the Big10 much success because even if we blow, at least we blow in a conference that matters. However, despite the major upsets last weekend. The top 5 ended up as follows...

1.Alabama
2.Ohio St.
3.Michigan
4.Clemson
5.Louisville

I'm thinking if Michigan only drops one spot, then they must think favorably of Iowa for it to make little difference. Nope, Iowa is still not ranked.

Nope.... Michigan did not drop....last week, an undefeated Michigan was ranked #3.... this week a one-loss Michigan is still ranked #3.

Here is the top 5 from last week:

1 - Alabama
2 - Clemson
3 - Michigan
4 - Washington
5 - Ohio State

You know....

.... because....

.... Harbaugh & stuff.

GO BLUE!

Michigan loses rot an unranked and middling Iowa and does not drop. Washington loses to a number 13 ranked and red hot USC and drops two spots. Makes sense.

its "rigged"... kidding aside, keeping Michigan at 3 makes the osu-michigan game that much bigger=higher ratings. Washington, in my opinion is the least respected team in the top 10.

I really, honestly think they are just trolling fans with these rankings every week until the final one that decides the playoffs and bowls, that is the only one they will take seriously.

Or they have no idea what they are doing...

Understand Clemson still being ahead of Louisville since they win the head to head.

With Washington being ranked 6th now, I think it's a prime spot for the Big Ten to get two teams into the playoff. If OSU beats Michigan and gets left out of the B1G championship game I still think they'll get in based on their strength of schedule in comparison to Louisville & Washington.

Washington drops out after losing to a ranked USC team, while Clemson and Michigan remain after losing to unranked Pitt and Iowa. Not right.

I said somewhat of the same thing above, but after looking at it further, Michigan has more quality wins than Washington.
The question is why is Louisville ahead of Washington? What are their quality wins?
Washington's Signature Wins (and loss):
Stanford (a strong and ranked team)
Utah (a strong and ranked team)
Lost to USC (fairly strong and ranked team)

Louisville’s Signature Wins (and loss)
FSU (strong and ranked team)
Lost to Clemson- a very strong and ranked team

Michigan belongs:
Signature Wins (and loss)
COLORADO (a strong and highly ranked PAC-12 Team)
Penn State (a strong and ranked team)
Wisconsin (a strong and ranked team)
Lost to Iowa (Middle of the pack P5 Team)

Why is Louisville ahead of Washington?
