Thanks for that. That's great stuff. Pikiell was already coaching the younger guys back there. LOL! And I remember watching that NCAA tournament game when Tate George made that improbable shot. The full length pass was amazing.

Same here.

He played on some star-studded teams at UCONN. Played with Cliff Robinson, Tate George of course, Chris Smith, Scotty Burrell, Lyman DePriest among others. But even though he was a 2 year captain he was definitely a role type player. Averaged about 9 ppg as a freshman but then was pretty much recruited over it seems. But the fact that he was a captain even while no longer starting says a lot.
