Chris Ash was upbeat during the open portion of practice #7 this morning, joking around with Johnathan Lewis during stretches, and that mood transitioned over when he spoke to the media afterwards. There, he said there is “no chance” Rutgers names a starting quarterback this spring, with the battle likely to head until training camp. He picked out Giovanni Rescigno, Artur Sitkowski and Johnathan Lewis as sticking out after last Saturday’s scrimmage. Both Eddie Lewis and Bo Melton stuck out with some strong catches on fade routes in the open portion of practice this morning, and Ash had good things to say about both in his availability. He added he has not spoken to Jawuan Harris about his future, as he has been focused entirely on baseball this spring. Here is the video.
