Meh... As long as its not Al Dukes, the third biggest c*** on the show and most worthless on WFAN.
Big fan of Chris I to hope it was on his terms. Maybe he is going to be doing more Sirius/XM Radio and doesn't have the time. He is very good on Sirius.

Jerry was good for Columbia and got them exposure they would never otherwise see on Boomer and Carton. And when it turned into making fun of them, he always had fair counter-points. I'm assuming with all the crap continuously coming our way in all facets, this will at least help with public perception.
He is very good at that. And very good in the studio. Talented guy and a good one at that.
Just IMO not the best play by play guy for either sport.
Even though he is above this now he was soooo much better than Fooch as the sideline guy.
This is a very good move for him. It will free him up to do the Sirius XM Thing which he is killing on.

I think he lives in Holmdel. I heard him talk about it on the show a few years ago. I, however, could be wrong.
Recco always sounds like hes wondering how the hell he wound up with those three idiots he work with every morning. He does sound pretty good when they play his work for Columbia. So thats good for Rutgers.
And as for the other three, they have the nerve to make fun of The Dan Patrick Show and The Dannettes. THAT is the best show on raido and I wish I worked as one of The Dannettes instead of being a back row insufferable, non singing goof or a guy whos only talent is to repeatedly play sound effects to try to be funny. The two main donkeys are not worth talking about.
He grew up in Hazlet and owns a house in his old neighborhood. He did go to SJV in Holmdel for high school. Maybe he lived in Holmdel at some point.
Good. I never understood how a guy with a gravelly voice that sounds like sand paper ever made it in radio.
I do not listen to B and C but C will kill Recco about RU every morning which will ultimately work out in our favor with the public.
Jerry is a great guy.....definitely the nicest sports radio guy I've dealt with......I think he's from Old Bridge too. Only bad thing about him is his Dallas Cowboys fan status.
I grew up with Jerry, he's as good of a guy as you'll ever meet. Definitely a Hazlet guy and NJ bred. Followed his dream to work in sports and paid his dues along the way.
