So my son just purchased a condo in Springfield. As we were helping him get set up, we ran into one of the neighbors and asked if there was a good takeout place around. He pointed across the street to a place called Cioffi's, so naturally we went over to see what it was like. As we walked in, the were a lot of RU pictures and at the register a nice photo of Anthony Cioffi. I said to the guy at the register that he was a good player, and the guy was all smiles. I can only guess that the place is owned by Cioffi's family. We took out some great Italian subs, and I guess we have a Rutgers neighbor to root for. We'll be following closely. Yes it is owned by his parents and it's one of the best places to eat around Springfield. His dad is a really nice guy- he gave my daughter a "weRBIG" magnet just because she wanted it.
We get take out at least once a week and they also deliver.

It's a great place. I love stopping in there when I am in the area. They always want to talk football, especially the uncle.

Fine! All the good food is in NJ and I have to eat what's available in So. Fl. It's the good ITALIAN BREAD that makes the sandwich.
