Don’t know if anyone saw this but when we were lining up for the National Anthem someone purposely bumped Cliff hard - I think it was Reese. Cliff turned around like WTF, and a fight could have easily broke out. Maryland def should have started out with a technical.

It’s all a bit of gamesmanship. I noticed Caleb cleaning his shoes right in front of the bench before the game as well. Along with a couple of bumps along the way.

Difference is one team (RU) let’s their play back it up. We have turned into the bully and I say that endearingly.

Just wrote in another thread - seems irresponsible of Willard to play somebody like this who is not in a good headspace. Kid seems to have an anger problem and is really going to hurt someone. Guess Willard needs to decide if winning is the most important thing or acting in this kids best interest is the most important thing.

a guy courtside was jawing with reese and he started jawing back. Boomer E then turns to our fan and says Good job, now he's pissed and gunna go off" I told Boomer, gotta have relaxed muscles in B Ball, it's not football...a few plays later he gets a flagrant. LOL

He should have had a flagrant foul for the elbow he threw on Caleb when he set the illegal pick how they referees didn’t review that is beyond me

Is not giving him any repercussions really in the kid's best interest though?

Saw it. You’re overstating it. Wasn’t that big a deal. The fact is our whole team was in a line blocking their teams ability to go where they wanted to go.

Rutgers is the wrong team to do that to.
I thought the kid just looked like an idiot, but I can see that maybe he was looking for a fight too. Stupid.

Willard thought he had a good game to the post presser
In the post game presser Willard complimented Reese for the effort when he clotheslined Paul on the breakaway layup.

Nice.

Willard is an Ass. There were times he lost the locker room at shu and looks very likely here too. Some of these kids look like they don’t respect him and when faced with adversity (and let’s face it.. Humiliation at times during the first half of the last 2 games) they start getting dirty. Willard needs to reel that in but he won’t… make that he can’t.

Reese shouldnt of been on the court. Should of been a flagrant II or his second flagrant at that time.

I know we play hard and aggressive but i cannot remember an outright dirty play with intent ever from a Pike team. Really is a testament to how he coaches and the guys hes recruited. Hardworkers who happen to be excellent kids/representation of the school.

MD plays OSU on Sunday with OSU coming off the Purdue loss last night. I think Key from OSU can be a showy ass sometimes in the way he celebrates his scores. Will be interesting to see how Reese responds to that.

What is the status of Key? He went out of the game in the 1st half last night with a shoulder injury and did not return.

Some of post game show opinions were he is going to lose the locker room.
