Up close you can cleary see it. He is favoring his right leg. I pointed it out and the people around me all agreed once I did. While walking he had a slight limp. The one ref even asked him if he was OK when he was checking into the game

Maybe so, but a bum leg doesn’t explain his stone hands.Up close you can cleary see it. He is favoring his right leg. I pointed it out and the people around me all agreed once I did. While walking he had a slight limp. The one ref even asked him if he was OK when he was checking into the game
Noticed that and was commenting on it several games ago that his running didn’t look right.Up close you can cleary see it. He is favoring his right leg. Exactly, here come the excuses. The title should be 'Cliff is not very good'!
He may be bruised but poor judgement, poor passing, stone hands as was mentioned before are not due to any leg injury.
Also I do not understand why he continues to switch off at the top of the foul line and does not get back to his man, who eventually scores.
Also he laid up a shot on a rebound and missed when he normally skies up for a dunk. No spring. Would explain alot.He was very pensive today. There was one play in the first half when he was fed the ball under the basket for a sure dunk and unlike him - he did not go immediately up for the dunk and did a head fake as if afraid for the imminent contact.
Pensive? That sounds like a place I’ve never been, Pen Island. Have you been?He was very pensive today. Been saying this for a while …I have just wanted to keep this quiet . No inside info…but ther just are days he looks like he doesn’t have the explosion and favored it. Maybe upper leg muscle pull?Up close you can cleary see it. He is favoring his right leg. I pointed it out and the people around me all agreed once I did. While walking he had a slight limp. I also recall a few games ago the sleeve came off. Perhaps he re-aggravated something or it’s something else.I have thought this since early in the season...I thought he may have had a sleeve or something at some point too...
It seemed like he was fully healthy a couple weeks ago..i forget what game....didn't have a sleeve if I recall and seemed to have more energy. It seemed like he re-aggravated it or something the last couple games. Pur speculation. But it might explain some things.
And yet he jumped over the shoulder of an Iowa front court player. Still I agree with everyone's observationsBeen saying this for a while …I have just wanted to keep this quiet . When did he get hurt? Games ago?He did the Gumby rise a couple of games ago..you think he would do that if hurt
He did it against MD as wellHe did the Gumby rise a couple of games ago..you think he would do that if hurt
Why would next year at Rutgers help him more than this year? He's physically mature, it's not like he's going to get bigger/faster/stronger with another year.I don't think the G League is a great option for players who have a lot of development to do. The competition is stronger than college and I'd think you can get buried pretty quickly on the bench if not playing up to what the organization is looking for.
Playing at Rutgers, he'd still be the man.. and will have plenty of practice and game experience to hone his skills
The way he is playing I honestly don’t think he would have any G league interest right now. He is too raw and he is getting outplayed by guys who won’t be playing beyond college. If he wants to be a pro next year he will probably have to go overseasSo much stuff in other threads about if Cliff will stay another year or not. At least this is a Cliff thread.
Why would Cliff be more likely to become an NBA player with another year at Rutgers as opposed to a year in the G League?
It seems to me that IF that's the only goal - playing in the NBA, the sooner he can get to the G League the better. That would have been the case after last season too, which makes me think it's not the only factor for Cliff. If it were, he'd be in the G League right now.
Rutgers misses Jay Young who coached the front court players. He made Myles Johnson a better player.I don't think the G League is a great option for players who have a lot of development to do.
