As a huge Pikes fan from day 1, and still a guy in his corner for sure....

13-0 PU run following 2 TO's after we cut the lead to 5. I've said it before and I'll say it again: under Pikes we MIGHT be the worst team in the nation 1st 2 minutes out of a TO, It's absolutely stunning how consistently bad we are in this situation. Almost every single time we have a lead, or momentum, it takes a 180 following a TO (whether by us, our opponent, or the officials.) It's so predicable that, if Vegas had a real-time line as such, I'd bet against us every single time. It's not just this season, either, it's been like this - for the most part - the last 9 years.

This has been going on for years against almost everyone we play (but, yes, Painter is an excellent coach....).

Poor coaching at both ends of the court.Rutgers has plenty coaches and support staff but the team looks totally out of sync.Look at the video tape of opposing teams that play fundamentally sound basketball.

The Ex AD has yet to be replaced as the University currently does not have a President!

And it's no great surprise to other coaches that we might play zone for one possession out of a timeout.

Both shot a combined 2-of-12 from 2 PT-range

Derkack was 0-of-5 on layups

Ace was 0-of-4 from mid-range

Theres a certain level of trust a coach needs to have in his players to do the basics which I don’t blame pike for. EO to catch that pass, Derkack to make the open lefty layup, etc. this is the problem when he hasn’t had more than two years with these guys and why he’s not a good coach in the NIL transfer portal era
