Yes, that was one hell of a game and one hell of a finish. Congrats to Villanova. Their team was resilient and tough as nails. They deserved the championship.
I think Paige's post game comments were pretty spot on. Nova just happened to have the ball last and that was the game. I also agree that I think Carolina would have taken it if the game went to OT.
I think you're right. And in the past that's what would have happened. That's why I thought it was such a great finish and when all was said and done, Jenkins drilled that shot at the buzzer. Great game. Great finish.
It did seem like momentum was going carolina's way. UNC was down 6 with ~ 1min:30 left in the game. They tied it up with 4.7 seconds left. Roy Williams should have used his last TO.

Now this I agree with you on. I never understood why a coach would not foul there when you're up 3. I've seen too many coaches allow the three there as 'Nova did.
