Most people didn't think that. A few did.It seems like the perception back in March was that a majority of the people here thought he'd drafted in the 2nd round. Some even thought he'd be a late first rounder.

Yikes leave the poor kid alone
I believe all summer league rosters have been submitted. A little surprised Corey didn't latch on when compared with some of the players on some rosters, but this is a new NBA that values length and shooting ability. Last I heard Corey's agent is looking for a landing spot at a Spanish league team, but that might even be ambitious.
Agreed. In order to get into the league you have to be best player on the court in most games. In most games this season he wasn't even top 3 or 4. Corey is an athletic specimen but that will not get you into the league. His best bet is to go overseas and work on his fundamental game and his overall maturity.Length, shooting, knowing your role, working hard, not being above the team. People are probably underestimating how much of a turn off it is when nba scouts can google Corey and find that he was late coming back from winter break consecutive years and didn’t work out worth the team over the summer. NBA teams don’t want that headache for a potential 15th man. It’s not worth it for the minimal impact on the court.
Summer semester saves the day. Whatever class you put off in the Fall or Winter is easier in the 12 week summer semester (If it's available). I'm there right now killing accounting. During the Fall or Spring it would be killing me.Not to sound like an old curmudgeon but in my day it was better.
No redshirting-----you got out in 4 unless you missed a year due to injury
No summer school-----you went home and worked----if you were in Summer School it was because you had an academic issue
No Training Table-----you ate with everyone else
No S&C Coach-----we had one-----he was a Priest----very good at what he did and a wonderful man but he was a faculty member and a priest.
We ran at 6 AM in the offseason in the Field House----done by 7----weight training was expected but you did that on your own. Most HS's have better weight rooms today than we had
Your day wasn't micromanaged for you-----you learned to do that yourself. It was a valuable teaching tool for life.
I don't see where a condensed course becomes easier unless the professor treats it a bit more casually.

For himself Yes. But for the team it's OK, now we just have to move forward. He should’ve just played his last year at RU
