Corey Sanders Named Second Team All-Met

Rutgers sophomore guard Corey Sanders has been named to the 2016-17 All-Met Men’s Basketball Second Team, it was announced Monday by the Met Basketball Writers Association. An Honorable Mention All-Big Ten selection by both the league’s head coaches and media, Sanders led Rutgers and ranked among the Big Ten leaders with a 12.8 points-per-game scoring average.

Not enough love given to Corey here. Good look for the program and impressive on him.

With all the training hes been doing as of late. I believe next year we see his shot and left hand improved greatly.

Great kid, but I think people just are always confused on what he is doing.

Has tremendous potential. He just has to stay focused and realistic.
 
Nice and all, but ever since actual conferences formed All-Met doesn't really mean very much. We know how good he is, and have a hunch how much better he can be, but All-Met doesn't do it for me. Kind of like the Lambert Trophy used to mean a lot more.
