Even if they go 4-0, their resume is not very good. They have a ton of work to do, and will have to go 10-8 minimum, might have to be 11-7 just to barely get in. Based upon what I have seen thus far, this team going 15-7 the rest of the way feels near impossible, like an Illinois 59 yard field goal into the wind kind of impossible. It’s not fully there yet but it’s hard to picture these guys going 15-7 with predominantly Big 10 games left on the schedule.

Not a shot this team sweeps Princeton and Columbia. Two well coached teams. At least one will embarrass us. 3-1 if we are lucky. I expect 2-2.

This unfortunately is true, highly unlikely, but then again going 4-0 also feels highly unlikely. This team has now given me the exact vibes of last year’s team as far as the ability to obtain wins, last year we couldn’t score, this year we can’t stop anyone from scoring, that’s the difference between the two. Looks like both teams may share the same inability to win. This year has a lot of season left but man that defense is ugly.
