Seeing so many former coaches and players working as on-air talent at BTN, I thought about how cool it would be to see one of our own there. Didn't Linda Miles aspire to work in the media at one point?

Kev - Funny you mention Linda today. We were just talking about her yesterday here in Indy. She did the WWE wrestling bit as “Shaniqua” some years ago but got into basketball officiating for a while (not sure she is still active there). According to Wikipedia she lives in Cincinnati and was substitute teaching.

She is still reffing as I saw her officiating a game on tv this season. I was impressed that she did not call a technical foul on a player that was complaining about a call she just made saying "terrible call, terrible call" loudly and right in front of her. It was near the end of the game and definitely could have impacted the outcome if she had called a T. She just shooed her away and let them play on.
