I would assume that he's planning on going to a school losing a top QB to the draft right now, like Cal. or a proven contender with an open competition for QB.

Doesn't TT play the spread offense? He might be just what we need for the transitional year under Coach Ash. Since we don't already have a QB who has run the spread, he could very likely start right away. In terms of grad school,RU has just about everything under the sun so he could accomplish his other goals here as well. I really hope the coaches are on to this and pursue him hard. Maybe the new OC coming up from Houston already is aware of this guy.

Mehringer followed him on Twitter already.....as did many other coaches across the nation. It's pretty entertaining to look for little things like that, especially when you know they all followed in the past 24 hours.
