Okay, I'm half pissed and half bewildered right now.
I received a letter from the Department of Annual Giving stating that the credit card I have on file for a multi-installment pledge expired and they need me to call them with an updated card.
I call them just now and they tell me to call back in 2 hours, everyone is in a meeting. Really?
IF PEOPLE ARE READY TO DONATE, BE READY TO RECEIVE THE DONATION!
I'm pretty dedicated and will call back, because I love my University, but how many people that are willing to donate get turned away and never call back? What are the chances that I call back at 12:30 or so and they are all at lunch? Two things that should never happen:
Someone is trying to donate and gets refused or delayed.Someone is trying to buy season tickets and can't get a salesperson.
