Did one of the players rat out the others?

Not that I care (I want all the thugs off the team) but it seems odd that two groups of players were charged on the same day for a different set of crimes. Could it be that the police put pressure on one or more players, who in turn gave up information on the perpetrators of the other crimes in exchange for leniency?

Could there be a subculture of really bad guys who all ran in a bad circle and many players knew of the exploits that occurred? Who else on the team in in that group?

Unrelated point: I didn't play in college but played in HS in a rough town. I was a clean kid, no drugs, no crimes. On a team of 40-50, I definitely knew who the bad guys were; who dealt drugs, who smoked crack, who had a gun. I assumed the coaches knew generally who the bad kids were but I don't think they knew of specific incidents. I think the same is true for Flood &co.

Dre Boggs has half a mil bail. Its not like the guys were helping minors get beer at parties

Does the captain have any influence on stuff like this? Do we not have a strong enough influence in the lock room to curtail these shenanigans?

It wasn't necessarily one of the RU guys who rolled. There were ten people implicated (nine arrested so far), six of whom are not on the team and five who were never on the team. One of the non-RU guys might have rolled over on the players. Not that it matters.

What? If the players were aware that these things did take place and were asked about it ...are you suggesting that they should not say anything? Talk about cowardice. These are serious charges. These players absolutely deserve due process of the law but if another was aware of some terrible behavior...because they are teammate..they are suppose to keep quiet? What are you kidding me?

Keep it in the F.A.M.I.L.Y.

Hey, when pulling out all the stops when it comes to NJ stereotypes, acting like a mafia don is a logical progression.
