He turned out to be a huge D bag. He was dancing on the field and on the sidelines every chance he got. He was acting and looking for attention while taunting us.

You think peppers is the only one? You should have seen what Kareem Walker tweeted. That was even worse.

Media plays him up like he's mix of Desmond Howard and Ed Reed. His name helps since "Jabrill Peppers" makes better copy than "Jabril Schicklgruber"

Peppers will go off to pros and don't have to worry about him anymore.

He was definitely getting away with antics on the field that, without question, we've been penalized (see: Foster chop, DH superman) for in the past. That being said, damn, he's good.

I am probably a bit naive when it comes to this stuff...... I would have thought that, if they had a lot of old friends that went to RU, they would not enjoy more in beating us like that.... I don't mean they don't want to win as badly as other games, that is a given, but to enjoy this win even more than an unconnected rival.

Possibly the head coach makes all the players on the team feel disrespected by RU, the competing camps, etc..

Still....

Why don't you tell us.

First off I don't view him as being that "great" athlete and I seriously question how his talents will translate into the NFL. Michigan will be tested against OSU and thoroughly destroyed when they finally face a top tier SEC TEAM.

No amount of hotdogging or running up the score will ever change the fact that Rutgers University beat the Michigan Wolverines for their first ever Big Ten conference win. Oh and you lost to Kyle Flood. Proceed with your celebration.

That's the truth. To quote The Longest Yard, "A broken leg will heal. A loss to the Mean Machine lasts forever." That loss in our first meeting is a scar that Michigan will have for eternity.

The apple does not fall far from the tree. Your Head Coach will have an effect on your attitude as a player. Weather it be a good effect or a bad one. Sometimes the effect is so subtle, the players don't even realize it's happening to them. I'm not saying Peppers definitely falls under this spell. It just might be his natural attitude. We will give him his props for being a great football player, but his antics only make him look foolish and it depletes his character.

And me as a casual fan - someone didn't go to Rutgers but is from Jersey - I just want to see them win...

What's been interesting for me this season is to see just how fragile the foundation is that Schiano built for the program. Teams like Ohio State or Michigan or Texas can have down Years and rebound because they have years of tradition and loyal fan base is outside of even their own alumni. That's an ocean compared to RU's coffee Mug.

Peppers is a great player and I would have loved him at RU. But if anyone follows HS football you would have know he was a D bag. Similar to the younger Olsen kid when he was in HS.

I don't remember anything on Walker in HS as far as attitude. Gary was a good kid, but his mother was the arrogant one.

Obviously not a "Rutgers man". I would rather lose every game 78-0 than to have such talented but non "Rutgers men" play for our team and win. Jeez, you can't make this stuff up.

Our foundation was washed away by a Flood.

isn't he the guy that was accused of giving a couple of Michigan co-eds an STD and they posted it on line?

Here's what I don't get.

I understand players acting that way when they play against a team that did not recruit them. They obviously feel disrespected and want to prove the team made a big mistake.

But he has to know how much Rutgers and Rutgers fans wanted him to stay home and play here. So what the hell is his problem?

Himself. He's just an a-hole.

Did anyone think that maybe.. Just maybe, Peppers has been given a lot of shit on social media the last 2 years and probably in person this weekend by Rutgers fans and finally had the chance to shut them up?

Perhaps he shouldn't let the actions of a few dictate how he acts but I'm sure the overwhelming amount of things he's heard from Rutgers fans the last 2 years has not been too kind.

The guy was getting boo'd before he even made a play.

That horseshit isn't gonna hold up in the pros next year. Someone can and will buckle his knee if he tries that there.

I was surprised at Peppers' antics on the field. At one point during a timeout a ref called him and another player over and I had to wonder if he told him to tone it down. He's one of the best players in the country

Schiano's "foundation" isn't the cause of our issues.
