Didn't realize peppers was like this

Did anyone think that maybe.. Just maybe, Peppers has been given a lot of shit on social media the last 2 years and probably in person this weekend by Rutgers fans and finally had the chance to shut them up?

Perhaps he shouldn't let the actions of a few dictate how he acts but I'm sure the overwhelming amount of things he's heard from Rutgers fans the last 2 years has not been too kind.

The guy was getting boo'd before he even made a play.

Well, you have to understand it from our view point, where a NJ player could have helped turn around our NJ team..... We don't like a kid heading out west and then say he is repping NJ, When they can do that here, and I can guarantee you, it would be most appreciated.....

See, each lost NJ player is more magnified..... Michigan can miss on a home stater and it is not quite the same, imho.

Maybe they should not boo him, true.

Peppers is just one of the latest outstanding NJ high school players who decided to play out of state for a elite school like Michigan. When they come to play in front of their families ,they want to excel and support the reason why they didn't choose Rutgers. Its a catch 22 scenario because Rutgers will have great difficulty in competing in the B1G without players like Peppers.Recruiting largely is about perception.Losing 78-0 hardly helps Rutgers cause.Top recruits want the bright lights and all that comes with playing for a elite football program. In the interim Rutgers fans can only dream how the outcome of games would be different with Peppers type players.

No amount of hotdogging or running up the score will ever change the fact that Rutgers University beat the Michigan Wolverines for their first ever Big Ten conference win. Oh and you lost to Kyle Flood. Proceed with your celebration.
I remember, Flood beat Brady Hoke.

I remember, Flood beat Brady Hoke.

Yep. The same Brady Hoke who finished 11-2 and won the Sugar Bowl just 3 years earlier. I'd take him right now over Kyle Flood despite Oregon's performance yesterday.

Media plays him up like he's mix of Desmond Howard and Ed Reed. His name helps since "Jabrill Peppers" makes better copy than "Jabril Schicklgruber"

hey, Jabril Schicklgruber is a badass. Set all the records at Brandeis back in the 30s. Nearly chose Rutgers.

Had a similar thought watching the game. It's like, "we get it, you're awesome at football, and in this world that counts for something. You should feel blessed that you were given the abilities you have, and I'm sure you've worked very hard, but your success is in large part a product of your God given talents, have some humility, because it's the classy thing to do, and more importantly you never know when you're one play away from being a has-been."
