Heavily penalized teams are a sign of poor coaching. Flood deserved some flack when we were getting tons of penalties. He deserves the same amount of praise for cleaning it up.
66 - we were one of the most penalized teams in the nation prior to the MSU game. The last 2 games - GREAT job reducing the penalties - no doubt! It helps that B1G officials don't throw a lot of flags, no doubt, but we've obviously made an effort as well.

Agree with this. Noticeable improvement, need to keep it up.It's not just penalties (which clearly down over last two games )--- it's the "unforced" penalties (illegal motion, illegal formation, etc.) huge improvement...
You better give credit to our staff NUTS...we could have a bunch saturday but I feel the team is paying attention to detail...to be able to come back after all the crap is a credit to the staff , players and Flood ...like it or not...these guys love him.66 - we were one of the most penalized teams in the nation prior to the MSU game.
