Dollar Hot Dog Night Fiasco

Has anyone tried to contact Rutgers about this problem.
Seems like it has been going on for years.

Some things are just common sense.

When you have dollar hot dog night you need to have them cooked, hot, packaged, and ready to go.

Not have twelve on a hot dog roller cooker with some lackey probing them with a cooking thermometer waiting for 160 degrees internal temperature.

But if the concession stand doesn't show common sense, don't you think it might be worth complaining to Rutgers about it?

I don't know who complains about less more. You guys or the woman sitting next to me on the sofa crying about the Giants losing. :)

the athletic department reads the board, they know exactly our complaints
Just because they read complaints on boards like this doesn't mean they'll feel a need to act ASAP.
Burt personal contact letting them know about problems probably would get more of their attention than seeing a complaint on a message board.
All I'm saying , it won't hurt to let them know your complaint personally through e-mail , phone or USPS using your name and not a message board handle .

Tried getting papa John's at the half and couldn't wait any longer. They are very disorganized and slow at the register. Also, had a stale pretzel at the beginning of the game.

Being able to watch a decent team for the first time in years is pretty good though so I will deal with the food issues.

Not every complaint is worthy of writing a letter.

I write letters for egregious problems. I don't have to write a letter because the hot dog promotion was a flop or because the fry oil at the concession stand behind sec 115 is rancid. I can deal with that problem by not buying a hot dog and avoiding the concession stand.

At some point, Rutgers Athletics needs to be responsible for their own quality control, and not rely on fans to write letters after the fact. If hot dogs weren't cooked in time for the game, that is a specific problem with the plan for this promotion. If Rutgers didn't know that hot dogs weren't cooked (prior to reading about it on this board or receiving letters), that is a systemic problem and indicative of a major issue in how the food service is run.

these problems are happening repeatedly which leads me to believe that they either are totally oblivious to the situation or they really do not give a shit...I think its 50/50 on whats the right answer
