The way you make your voice known is you buy your tickets and make your required donation. And then specify how any other donation is to go...
Whatever with your ass. That's right, been through it all in 25 years and not even alumni. I'd rather be a season ticket holder at West Point. You at least know what they stand for and the kids and the institution are easy to root for
This always sounds great but reality is this - you dont donate enough to matter, and by the time the mass of fans stops going to games, its too late. You want to really make a statement then this is what will finally make Barchi take notice. Obviously it will hurt us financially but buying in to the current cast of clowns coaching us is even worse. Good riddance to this team. They get no more of my money nor the money of my large tailgate until they hire someone with brains, energy and passion.
I was as POd as anyone Saturday night (and intoxicated), and thought and said some stuff that were irrational.
The only way RU will ever be a top B1G football program is if more alums and fans do the opposite of what you suggest and do these things:
1. Donate more
2. Buy season tickets
If let's say RU football gets 40k season ticket holders and everyone steps it up with donations, our voice will be much stronger and louder and we can force change to the athletic dept, university and in the State of NJ.
Look, the team this season will stink and not win many games.
Too many key players were lost to turn things around and the dark clouds swirling around the program and with Coach Flood are simply too much to overcome.
But, buckle up and man up for change and ensure that you step it up as fans with season tickets and donations to the football program and we can have a bright future .
Who said a few thousand? The whole point of the thread was significant percentage of the seats empty visible on TV.
It took schiano several years to build the current fan base. Flood will get us back to 10-20k where we were before schiano.
Home games filled with opponent fans.
Yeah. We should just shut up and watch. Right?
Buying tickets is our only voice. You have yours and I have mine.
+ 1
If you went to a restaurant and got food poisoning every week despite spending your hard earned money you would not return.
RU is my alma mater and I will always love it, but renewing Flood after he time and time again hurt the reputation of the school...is just a bridge to far. I will not financially endorse that decision. There is no other way to show my dissatisfaction.
Barchi and the BOG have a choice, pay more for a coach and sell more tickets or keep Flood and half the ticket holders will come and you show you have no ethics, lose money on concessions and parking and just hope TTFP and Michigan fans come. Basically be Temple with bad coaching. in the Big 10.
I could care or less what your rinkly ass thinks.
I'm a 15 year season ticket holder
It there is anybody in the thread who sits upstairs (in Row 3 from Section 220 ---> over) and is planning on giving up your seats please let me know so we can let the Ticket Office move me.
Thanks.
But if you read my post again notice I am looking for a specific Row.If Flood comes back next year I sure you will have no problem finding seats in Sections 220, 221, 222, 223, Anywhere in the Stadium you like.
LOL. What a fvcking tough guy. You've basically been doing nothing but trolling this board for some time now. You are in your glory now that you get to talk sh!t because the program is at a low point.

Wait what? We are going to have Thursday night games because we suck? What the hell are you blabbing there internet bruiser? There are fans out there that are totally fed up and have a better way to spend their Saturdays and/or most likely Thursday nights again now that program is set back another 10 years . Deal with it; 25 years and done.
Deserting our team isn't even an option....bring signs if you wish to level you're complaints but lets not bring shame on us fans. That will help recruiting. It genius posts like this one. We don't need to make any statement. If you want to attend the game, then attend. If not, don't go. But the last thing we need is a mass exodus. If we lose this year, then we will hire someone. Hermann can't afford this crap.

LOL. So let me understand the really fvcked up logic you are presenting to the world. You are so fed up and don't want to spend time attending or watching Games but have the time to sit on this board all day and complain about how you don't want to spend time on the program anymore? That would make you either a troll or a loser. I will be happy to say it to your face on Saturday at the game.
fair weather fan .... doesn't have the DNA to be a Rutgers fan... this natural selection will weed them out... they just don't have the patience to make the cut.You want to really make a statement then this is what will finally make Barchi take notice.
