The way you make your voice known is you buy your tickets and make your required donation. And then specify how any other donation is to go...

I stopped buying season tickets in 2009 or 2010 I don't remember. However, I still attend the games. If you think you're making a statement by not attending the games you're wrong, what you're really doing is quitting on the team. JMHO

This always sounds great but reality is this - you dont donate enough to matter, and by the time the mass of fans stops going to games, its too late.
Again - what has Barchi done that you disagree with. Can you give a specific thing.
They would need to get the ticket office in order for 40K season ticket holders, they cant even handle 25K or whatever it is this year. Seems like everyone has there head cutoff when you call that place. Not to mention that screaming lady in the background every time you call....

If you went to a restaurant and got food poisoning every week despite spending your hard earned money you would not return.
RU is my alma mater and I will always love it, but renewing Flood after he time and time again hurt the reputation of the school...is just a bridge to far. I will not financially endorse that decision. There is no other way to show my dissatisfaction.
Barchi and the BOG have a choice, pay more for a coach and sell more tickets or keep Flood and half the ticket holders will come and you show you have no ethics, lose money on concessions and parking and just hope TTFP and Michigan fans come. Basically be Temple with bad coaching. in the Big 10.
+1000. Reading some of the posts above, it's ironic if any fan should call this giving up on the team, when the RU coaches did exactly that at Penn State by kicking that FG and then not trying an on-sides kick. That was a true surrender.
I love Rutgers football, but it's not important enough for me to boycott watching to send a message - the truth is this is just entertainment that I care about way more than I should. No boycotting, picketing or sending any messages for me - I'm going down with the ship no matter what....and this one unfortunately is sinking fast.
I will continue to support these kids regardless of bad upper admin decisions. This post is the reason we will never be a big time program. Programs have ups and downs. Good programs have fan bases that always support the team. You can all sell your tickets to me.

If Flood comes back next year I sure you will have no problem finding seats in Sections 220, 221, 222, 223, Anywhere in the Stadium you like.

Even if Barchi wanted a better coach (and sadly, I don't think he cares), I will say it again - there isn't sufficient funds to get the type of coach we need.
Do I think Flood deserves to stay - of course not. But no matter how much he has hurt us, that still doesn't somehow create a pot of money we don't have and, in fact, it works against us getting the major gifts we need to make things change.
