Never understood the whole concept of showboating before you accomplish something.

Win. Then grandstand for the crowd.

Even when it doesn't cost a win, it's still stupid. For example, Usain Bolt could have set a record that might have been untouchable for decades - but he slowed and started showboating before crossing the finish line.
