So far two of the three 5-7 bowl teams won their games (San Jose State and Nebraska). And the third, Minnesota, plays Central Michigan tomorrow. So there's a decent chance that the 5-7 teams will go 3-0. Personally, I think that's hilarious.

UCLA is not a bad team and was actually bowl worthy. Still lost to bottom of the league Big 10 team.
 
Thoughts on this thread:
1> 5-7 teams already have a losing record, so maybe there is less pressure to win. Or maybe they are smarter than their opponents. Higher APR scores must count for something on the field.
2> 4-8 teams could have been in the mix if there were more bowl games. Adding more bowl games may take a few years since it is a process.
3> Knight82 just jinxed Minnie, and will be in their dog house when they lose.
 
Anyone who watches ESPN knows that this happens because the good teams can't possibly get "up" to play in bowl games against these bad teams.
