Just landed Patrice Rene on the F-ball side of the ledger.

Sanders is a big get on b-ball side/ if we can land Parker / the 4 star SF....it's ON!

At some point ...hopefully NOW, we start re-landing the crème de la crème (the Sellers, Dabney's, Copelands, Jordans, Battles while discovering hidden gems - the Bailey's). This will allow RU to challenge and be ultimately be successful in the B1G, the tourney / Dance & Advance.

GO RU!

It's the B1G. sometimes, I think we forget that Rutgers is only entering it's 2nd year after being in the AAC.

We need to develop talent to win and build a consistent program. Can't rely on landing the top recruits, not in our shoes. The Big Ten is littered with highly recruited players, and programs that can maximize their abilities. We have not done a good job at developing our recruits, and to me, that will be the most crucial aspect towards our success.

Fair enough. We've also got to stop the "bleeding" (transfers) of top talent once they get here. Perhaps if we have:
1. Better facilities
2. Coaches that don't promote FT shooting % over embarrassment
3. Coaches that are competent (e.g. Not Fred Hill)
4. Coaches that don't go BALLISTIC on players (Rice was "no daisey")

we'll stand a chance.

But IMO it starts with RECRUITING.

It won't help if you need $1,000,000 and I loan you a $100....you're way short. Improve the level of play, improve the players once they get here, retain these players / improve the facilities / public image of a team that hasn't danced since the Charleston was in vogue and we stand a chance.
