ESPN is treating Duke-UNC like the superbowl

I hate Duke. With a passion. And UNC's "academic" scandal was sickening. But to pretend it's not one of the biggest rivalries in all of sports -- and suggesting ESPN is somehow wrong for promoting it as such -- is just nonsense.

Agreed

But I watched Vermont-Albany game--------Vermont is really a good team to watch and I wouldn't want to draw them if they make the Dance and I'm a High Seed.

I watched the Duke/UNC game last night. I have to say, watching Duke’s inability to defend or even box out makes me very hopeful that we can win once we get the right guys. Duke should have beaten UNC by double digits, but they don’t do any of the little things. They have a lot of bad habit AAU basketball in them. We dominated Purdue on the glass. Our guards box out and our forwards are usually in good position. It’s a bummer we have such a depleted roster right now. If we continue to do the little things, we can be a good team with some consistent scoring.

Its a historic matchup, in state, with 2 tremendous teams. I dont blame them. It was a fun watch also.

Albany not bad either. They had this game won. That could be a fun championship game.

We’re all just jealous that we don’r see that kind of atmosphere at the RAC anymore.

I got home from a work event around halftime and watched. It was pretty entertaining. There is just such a glut of college BB on now, that it's tough to get excited for many games. They all blend together. In some cases they are ruined by Bill Walton like last Saturday's USC-UCLA game. Very good game ruined by his constant, over-the-top schtick.
