Eugene

I think FIG was having a little fun at MO's expense since MO suggested elsewhere that we should have a team meeting to solve our free throw shooting woes.
Why do I get the feeling that Dadika sitting down with a slumping player will be our next board meme, going right along with Sheridan, Subway and Guarantano's shoes...

Team meeting or other seminal moment (like maybe an intensive free throw drill) will decide more games for this team in 2018. Cannot negate the importance!

Big game for Eugene--the announcers were talking about how well he played. Still new to basketball, and he may never be much of a scorer. But he makes up for it on the defensive end.

My favorite move is the Eugene. Tough to describe. He did it after the hoop at the 16 minute mark. He sort of flexes his neck and stomps

“The Eugene”

Good way to describe it.

I posted the following several weeks ago:

I love the passion he plays with.
Reminds me of Rodman.

The physical expressions on his face after he makes a great play is awesome and I think quite unique. I don't see anyone else doing this. He kind of tucks his chin in and locks his head/neck in place, and gives an intense stare.

It is easier to see this after he gets fouled and he is walking around with stiff limbs and with leg kicks and arms flailing around. Kind of hard to describe, but it is very distinctive and reflects his intensity.

Anyone else notice this and maybe can describe it better?

Eugene was critical to the win last night.

A lot of guys contributed in positive ways.

But we don’t win without the return of Eugene that we’ve come to know and love this year.

KEEP IT UP, EUGENE!!!!!!!!!!

Omoruyi is great at getting into the right spot on both offense and defense. He's great at drawing fouls though of course his free throw shooting needs work in order to really make that skill an asset. I hope that due to his lack of experience we'll see another big improvement this off-season like we did from last year to this year.
