Five Things to Look For Heading into Rutgers Wrestling’s 2021-22 Season

It is almost time, Rutgers wrestling fans! The 2021-22 season is just TWO days from kicking off, as Rutgers wrestling will be host for a quad-meet with NJCU, Cleveland State, and Binghamton this Sunday at the Jersey Mike's Arena.

There is a lot of buzz surrounding this season, as Rutgers wrestling will feature one of their strongest lineups in program history. Three All-Americans, a four-time NCAA qualifying transfer, and a hand full of other national tournament qualifiers make up what is a strong lineup, from top to bottom.

However, as there is at every start of the wrestling season, there are still some unanswered questions as we head into the season. Some of which, will not all be answered this Sunday, and possibly not anytime soon.
