• Penn State scored 172.5pts eclipsing Iowa's previous mark of 170 from 1997.

• 133 of their team points return next year.

• Since 2000, 133pts would have won 14 of the 24 NCAA team titles.

Here’s another

Carter Starocci and AJ Ferrari both won national titles as freshman during the free covid year. People realized that there was a possibility both guys could potentially become the first ever 5x national champions.

Carter Starocci won his 4th title this year and might go for his 5th next season.

Conversely, AJ Ferrari has not wrestled in the tournament since.
