He should be answering many of Rutgers fans questions on why he created this disaster at RU.
Call in at 888-573-5335

I doubt he will come clean, the guy will never coach again. He will just keep doing what he does best,.. lie, lie and lie some more.

Is there a "blue flu" for sports commentators? If not, his basic response to any remarks on the topic by Mark Packer will be that Flood's attorney told him not to discuss the topic.

he owes all of us an explanation.. Id like to hear it.

The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that coaching has to be one of the best jobs a person can have. It's one of the few professions where you can lie, cheat, run what you're in charge of into the ground, prove definitively that you're a completely incompetent stumblebum, (and have your ass booted out the door as a result), and still have the opportunity to come out a wealthy person, and possibly even secure a gig on a radio sports show...regardless of all the damage you've caused!

Oh well, as the saying goes, "Nice work if you can get it". (In fact, KF probably has a plaque somewhere in his multi-million dollar home that has that particular bit of philosophical wisdom inscribed on it.)

And as far as calling in is concerned, people can try, but when asked anything even remotely RU related, Flood will probably simply do what he does best...dummy up.

Say you are calling in regarding one of the bowls or something, then when him and Packer get on the phone, let loose. The idiot still has to hear it.

It usually not live. Its "live" delayed by around 30 seconds so theyll cut you off and never air the nonsense.

You guys are fighting a losing battle.

But he still has to hear some of it, that is the point.

Why does he? To make him feel bad?

Move on from him. He created a dumpster fire and left. Let him leave and lets move forward. Having him hear it will not empty his bank account, give us wins, or somehow give us a 5 star WR. He ruined his career and will never get to do what he loves again.

Please don't embarrass yourselves guys we have enough of a black eye this week there's no reason to make us look like aholes on top of it.

Hardly any "black eye" right now. This is old news that we've handled properly and hardly making any kind of splash anywhere.

What explanation exactly are you looking for? Why he let kids who smoked pot play? Who really cares. He got in over his head and panicked in an attempt to save his job. The Flood era is over and it's time to move on. Nothing will come of these violations so "at this point what difference does it make"

There's plenty of reason to be disappointed over how Flood's and Herman's tenures unfolded, but there is no reason to be an a-hole to the guy. He ran the program with a loose, delegating, style, which was a marked departure from how GS had run it. Most on these boards raved about the end of Schiano's micro-management at the time.
In the end it blew up on him. On us really. The man didn't purposely harm our program. He just did not have the skillset to do it right. A lesson learned for all of us.

Seriously. Please drop this and move on. Nothing good will come from contacting Kyle Flood. At worst Rutgers gets a slap on the wrist. No need to possibly make things worse.

Why would anybody WANT to talk to him? Couldn't stand the guy but I agree with others no reason to call and bash him.

We are better off not drawing attention to ourselves. But I do understand the anger at that moron.
This. I had posted I wanted to call him in a thread yesterday and again above in this thread but upon reflection it is a no win. Flood probably won't speak about it and all I would be doing is exactly what North says: Drawing attention to this crap. Hopefully with the holidays the rest of the world forgets this by early next week.

Flood just made a few public comments about this, they are on the web.

I told everybody Fudd and Herman were horrible hires but got shouted down by many on this board.
Do like Ash a lot and his new Killer hire at OC.

If we don't get hit by the NCAA, Flood was our own death penalty.

Not only did he suck on the field but off. His Princeton shenanigans were a national embarrassment.

Our fans have the right to be angry.

Only because he got caught and did not win big.
Bigger National Embarrassments:

And they are both at Louisville. And nobody cares because they win big. What Flood did at Princeton is small potatoes in comparison. His hiding drug test results is is a bigger embarrassment.

He still needs to hear it until we no longer feel it
