DJ is visiting St. Louis this upcoming weekend. I would be surprised if he doesn't commit there with the Van connection.
You don't remember DJ Foreman?
Pretty mature attitude...If he played for Rutgers then quit, I forget about him..
Oddly enough, I wasn't talking about the 20 year old who made a life decision that he and those close to him thought was best for himself.Tango or DJ?
I wish Foreman the best, but really don't care if he plays well for his new school or if he just takes up bench space.Oddly enough, I wasn't talking about the 20 year old who made a life decision that he and those close to him thought was best for himself.
I do think that Foreman improved last year. The fact that his numbers were as good against the tougher league competition as against the early-season competition shows improvement. I don't think he had a problem with lateral quickness, he stayed in front of his man pretty well. He did improve on his free-throw shooting, hitting about two thirds once the Big 10 part of the season started.
That said, I happened to run into somebody very close the situation and asked about Foreman. The person I ran into was intentionally cryptic. However, it seemed clear that he was not nearly as upset at the transfer as I was. Based on that, my guess would be that the staff had some issue with him and did not try hard to retain him. I don't have any specifics, but that was the impression that I was left with.
Statistics such as shooting percentage, rebounds per minute, free-throw shooting percentage etc. are not that inflated in Big Ten games since Most of the time rotations were not altered that much for us except in the last few minutes.Every starter on this team had inflated stats. When the backups are put in, the stats are no longer accurate. Sanders for exampe. Put up 14 against maryland. Look at Melo Trimbles minutes for that game?13 minutes. Sanders, 37 minutes.
I am not a statician, but we were not going against starters the majority of the time. Therefore, our players stats have to be taken with a slight grain of salt.
Congratulations to DJ for growing to 6'9" tall

And we lost Kadeem Jack's offensive touches and minutes in the front court too. Of course his numbers are going to go up.Every starter on this team had inflated stats. What I am saying is that they are not accurate stats if the other team is not playing its starters. If we were in five point games, every team would be playing its best people 100% of the time. We were never that close.
I did not say that. Other teams with full rosters had "rotations." I said that the rotations were not really altered until the last few minutes. How many more minutes do you think star power forwards like valentine at Michigan State or Swanigan at Purdue typically played? Knowledgeable people recognized his improvement.Starters on the other team played the whole game?
