Freeman...Rodmanesque on the Court

doesn't hit the big shot but pours in the points to put the other team away takes the pressure off the rest of the team down the stretch

The missed layups by the front court players has been happening all season and will surely impact results against B1G competition.Freeman is a warrior on the court but needs to finish around the basket There are also too many blocked shots which is a part of not finishing.
Its a big change when fans can cite problem areas and the team keeps winning games.Coach Pikiell and staff have done a outstanding job in preparing this team on and off the court.

I know Jay Young works with the big men. They need to work in practice on getting the ball in traffic and going right up strong or taking the ball back out. Not just Freeman but pretty much everyone. You can't hesitate as that is when you get into trouble. Freeman definitely has some Rodman in him.

Reminds me of former UConn player (from Patterson, NJ) - Kevin Freeman.

For his height compared to other power forwards and centers he really gets after it on the boards. He is a real warrior.

Primary credit ...Freeman
Secondary credit....S and C guy

His rebounding metrics on both glasses are way up. Even more impressive when you consider the length he is playing alongside this year compared to last year. One could assume his rebounding numbers down a hair due to Sa and CJ taking some of his boards.

GRF, my theory on that would be: CJ is a big body for opposing players to get around for boards, leaving Freeman more room to clean up.
