Lots of hitting today as it was the first day in full pads...Kaiwan lewis was not in full pads because of his late arrival so the team went thud tempo when he was in there but he managed to make a couple of nice plays...Tomorrow will be the first two a day practice so the later afternoon session will be a little shorter than usual...Today quarterback Hayden Rettig really caught my eye on more than one occasion and had more chances as well...Other players who caught my eye - Steve Longa, Eric Wiafe, Dre Patton, Dre Boggs, Nakia Griffin...Solomon Manning was at practice today as was most of the Timber Creek squad...Flood said that Joe Roth is ahead in the punting competition right now...Defensive line looked as though they were getting a nice push while also rotating a lot of guys in and out...Today was also the hottest practice of the summer thus far...Flood is still looking to make his choice for starting QB around 7-10 days into camp...more to come.
