I don't know if he's going to be successful in the long run. But the guy does not deserve the Lynch Mob yet. It's easy to be negative . you really can never lose by being negative. you are always fully protected and miserable. If in the end you are right, you could say I told you so.

how did furman a team who is 2-7 against Divison 1AA competition play michigan state so close. They don't have any talent, according to you we suck simply because we don't have talent... yet they played michigan state 34 points closer without any talent, please explain how this was possible.

1) The transitive property never works in sports. Ever.

2) Kids are experiencing their first game action and they figure it out as the season goes on. Ever see a team lose early and go on a tear to end the season? Yeah it happens a lot.

We have a roster full of guys who had more FCS offers than FBS ones, more non-P5 offers than P5 ones, or whom Rutgers was their best offer. That's not exactly something to be boasting about and, fyi, you're definitely starting with the wrong people. Good luck.

Sorry nuts but facts matter. Out of our starters today all of them had other D1 offers besides Flanagan, and gio. Four out of 5 starters on the o-line had 5 offers or more, with 3 of them having more than 7 offers. Both of our starting wideouts had more than 7 offers, and robert martin had more than ten. Our entire d-line had more than 5 apiece, all of our linebackers had at least 3 D-1 offers, and the secondary actually doesn't. We were the only d-1 offer according to rivals for cioffi, hampton, and austin, but wharton had 2 other big ten offers, hester had a lot, damon hayes had a few. Are our players world beaters with their offers, or even good, no. Are they a bad d1-AA level, no they aren't and that's insulting to them, and not true at all, unless you 3 jokesters no more than a bunch of d-1 coaching staffs.

You do realize there are more than "starters" on the roster, right?

"All of our LB's had at least 3 D1 offers"...dude, THAT is scary that you find those #'s impressive....you do realize that right?

And no, it's not an FCS-level roster, but it's not a P5-level roster either right now. It's a high G6-level roster at best. It is what it is, unfortunately, but will begin to get better with the next class and some of the guys on sidelines in sweats sitting out this season.

Not saying it's a good roster but we have posters in this thread saying its furman level, and that is an insult to the kids and Simply not true, I don't think this is a good team at all, but it shouldn't be said by anyone to be furman level

people to stop absolving the coaches of blame in this mess, they need to accept responsibility.

Mindless post. You do realize A LOT of FBS teams sleepwalk through games against FCS foes, right? You do realize not everyone wants to win 103-3 and instead prefers to keep things close to the vest, right? You have watched football more than one year, right?
