It says Rutgers faced the toughest conference schedule last year. Not a selling point when you realize the main reason why.

FDU is predicted for 2nd in the NEC and has their leading scorer back and I believe the rest of their starters......

Won't be a cake walk
Agreed. And remember we have many new faces on the team that need to jell and learn how to play together. Always takes time. Kiss. Mathis. Harper. Caleb. Myles Johnson etc. We ll win due to better talent but it ll be a battle. I expect 7-10 point win.

Based on Pikiell comments at the Court Club fans should expect more offensive options resulting in higher scoring but the defense will not be as strong initially because of the new players still learning the system.

Luckily we have 7 guys who played or at least practiced in the system last year. I hope the freshmen can pick it up by the time the main conference schedule starts

Are you saying it was because other teams got to play us which softened up their schedules? I wouldn't say that was the main reason when some teams only played us once which is around 5% of their schedule. I think it's more because we played some good teams twice.
