I've streamed games in the past with Optimum but when hooking the HDMI to the TV it's blocked. I have PAC12 Network through VLC streaming but is there a work around to watch on TV. Game looks better on 55" rather than 13

You can try Chromecast if you have it. Maybe Optimum blocks certain URLS. You can download the Kodi App to your laptop and follow the instructions posted on the long thread with the video of the 10 year old kid.

Can't Chromecast from VLC. If you are watching the PAC12 stream through VLC on a laptop, you should be able to just use the HDMI cable. The Optimum app itself blocks the HDMI connection, in this case VLC won't do it. See here: http://www.ehow.com/how_7330397_set-up-vlc-player-tv.html

If you have a newer TV with DLNA capable streaming, you should be able to set that up as well, just google VLC to your TV model.

Try going to http://pac-12.com/live . From there input your DISH or Comcast UID and password or the one you borrowed from your friend. That should work with your HDMI cable or if you have Chromecast just use your Chrome browser to stream it into your TV. Same if you have apple TV and iPad then stream into your apple TV input from iPad. Go RU.
