Interesting comeback, but should never have been in that position in the first place. I don't care who this Monmouth team beat, they are only a fair team, who lacked consistency. But, they play like a team.

RU, is not in great shape(physically). No team play, lack of cutting off of picks, no inside play. Nobody knows how to block out on the boards! And, when a rebound falls to them, it's always an adventure, horrible hands. Point guard needs to penetrate more, then dish. Too much standing around on Offense. Just because you are a big, well built man, doesn't mean you play like one.....They play like an NBA team, without the skill set. Some of the players on the floor are not even Div.I players, and show it. Transfers to Kean Univ. would be appreciated. Leadership is nonexistent.
The positive, free throw shooting improved considerably.

I think Monmouth is better than "fair."

The biggest compliment you can give them is they play savvy. They are like the guy at the playground in his late 30s who can still run with the young bucks because he knows how to play, not because he can keep up physically. They don't beat themselves, they have a better than average point guard, the rebound well and they have 2-3 guys that can hit stand still jumpers. Those are traits of teams that can win a game or two in March.

This Monmouth team is solidly in the middle of the ACC and B10 and probably in the top third of the Big East.

I'd take that 7 days a week and twice on Sunday right now.
