For all the shots you can take at Pike, subbing Jmike in for JWill a couple minutes before the U12 shouldn't exactly send him to the TKR tribunal

Exactly, at least get it up there on the rim, maybe you get a bounce in or someone underneath has a shot at the board. His three point misses are not even close when he misses.
