Woolfolk just saw the double coming, dribbled once back away from the basket to give himself room to pass, and found Mag for an easy layup. Not a spectacular play but just super fundamentally sound.

His game reminds me a bit of John Stockton from the Utah Jazz, back in the day. He’d need to become more of a point guard ball distributor. And who knows if his 3 point range extends to NBA distance. But he has the court smarts and the defense for it, I think.

It isn’t good prep for tough competition, that’s true. The exception being it’s good for Caleb, who, by the way he’s moving around, looks like he has a way to go to be 100%.
The D isn’t focused, but it’d be hard to be focused playing what looks like a high school team. Also, it looks like Pike is having them work on some stuff in this game, with what looks like a slightly different zone D. Some different looking traps, etc.
OTOH, the different looks could be mistakes due to lack of defensive focus.
