A night of no upsets; also, no OT games so far (and the two that are still ongoing do not look like candidates for free basketball).

Purdue 77 Eastern Michigan 50 - Boilermakers end OOC 9-4
Northwestern 87 Santa Clara 84 - Hoosiers led by Gassion with 15 and 20

Other RU opponents

Elon 79 East Tennessee State 51 - Phoenix in control pretty much all the way
Maine 77 Bryant 52 - not out of reach until the 4th
St. John's 62 Wagner 34 - Red Storm now 7-3

Other ranked teams

#14 West Virginia 107 Longwood 40 - 31-8 1st quarter
#15 Colorado 76 Mississippi Valley State 64 - closer than you'd expect
#16 Texas 76 Texas San Antonio 43 - Longhorns back over .500
#23 Arizona State 79 Oral Roberts 52 - Brunner had 18 (8-11) and 10 for the Sun Devils
#25 Oregon 90 Portland State 46 - 28 and 17 for Hebard to lead the Ducks

Also

Kansas 75 Arizona 51 - 1st loss for the Wildcats
Utah 71 Weber State 52 - Utes now 10-0

Today:

Other RU opponents 2-1

Year to Date:

Big Ten 102-51

I'm not here to make your life miserable - but

- 2nd loss for the Wildcats. Disturbing - not that I expected them to be great, but the other loss was a late lay-up. This was a pasting from (arguably) the best team we played so far.

- Only Wisconsin and Rutgers are done with the OOC in the Big 10. Both schools you cite have another tilt, in fact I think Purdue gets IUPUI.

That's what I get for relying on the record that ESPN shows under the team's name.
