I'd like to say the solstice egg nog delayed this, but I just got caught up in other stuff. It was the last big day of games before Christmas.

#12 Ohio State 88 Winthrop 48 - Eagles are 1-11
IUPUI 67 Purdue 62 - a troubling home loss
Indiana 74 Stony Brook 60 - Cahill had 14 and 13 for the Hoosiers

Other RU opponents

Elon 65 Akron 62 - close all the way
Virginia 60 Maryland Eastern Shore 50 - also closer than I would have guessed
Wake Forest 60 Virginia Commonwealth 54 - surprisingly close
Princeton 107 Wagner 44 - not closer than I would have guessed
St. John's 74 James Madison 63 - Dukes blew a 10-point halftime lead

Other ranked teams

#6 South Carolina 70 Savannah State 30 - 4 in a row for the Gamecocks since the Duke loss
#7 Florida State 83 Mercer 40 - at Mercer, by the way
#8 Louisville 78 Vanderbilt 66 - close until the end
#13 West Virginia 77 Mount Saint Mary's 45 - Mountaineers undefeated heading into B12 play
#14 Stanford 71 George Washington 52 - Rizzotti got a nice write-up in the Washington Post before the game

#18 Kentucky 69 Washington State 67 - close all the way
Texas A&M 105 #19 Syracuse 84 - TAMU led all the way
#20 Oklahoma 74 Portland State 60 - tied at the half

#23 Virginia Tech 71 Radford 52 - not as close as it looks
#25 Oregon State 73 Oklahoma State 54 - Beavers win Play 4 Kay tourney
