One B1G upset today

Big Ten

#9 Ohio State 80 #6 Maryland 71 - Terps led by 3 at the half

Other RU Opponents

Temple 75 Houston 66 - Owls led 17-3 after 1st, but had to fend off Cougar comeback
Iona 67 Manhattan 56 - Gaels now at .500
Jacksonville 65 Savannah State 52 - 5 losses in a row for Lady Tigers

Other Ranked Teams

#5 Texas 80 Texas Tech 59 1:33 4th - Longhorns have led pretty much all the way
#10 Oregon State 29 Southern California 19 H - Trojans haven't lost at home
#11 Stanford 59 Arizona 34 - McPhee had 21 for the Cardinal
#17 Arizona State 57 #19 California 49 - neither team shot 40%
#20 South Florida 61 East Carolina 59 - a *lot* closer than I would have expected
#21 UCLA 80 Oregon 69 - Fields had 31 for the Bruins

Also

Sacramento State 132 Portland State 91 - Hornets made 50 field goals (12 3s) and 20 free throws*

*Not "field goals" the second time, which is what I wrote originally. Also, apparently 2nd home game in a row setting a team scoring record

Today:

Other RU opponents 2-1

Year to date:

Big Ten 112-39
Other RU opponents 91-44

There have been no palindromic scores in 95 games completed today. That makes 15 palindromic scores in 2,102 games so far this year. It's been four days since the last palindromic score.

Field goals and ?

Perhaps UNM can be proud of holding Sacramento State to a paltry 71 points in November.

Update:

#5 Texas 86 Texas Tech 62 - Longhorns now 13-0
#10 Oregon State 57 USC 49 - after 12-0 start, Ladies of Troy 0-2 in Pac-12

BeK - perhaps some of the New Year's Eve spirits are lingering. But shouldn't "Other RU Opponents" be 2-1. Looks like Temple and Iona won while Savannah State lost.

PS - I know it's really easy to correct but much more difficult to create the post! Thanks for all your hard work. Happy New Year!
