Last year at this time I was getting killed for saying all the things people are saying about Baker right now. Put all players through the same lens that you are viewing Baker in.
All of our players should have a lot to prove. To me, the only player that could be past that is Eugene. Unfortunately the most important thing we need to prove for next year is Eugene's knee.
Myles Johnson - prove that he can play 25 minutes a game and be consistent game in game out, possession by possession. improve FT shooter, develop a mid range game. Prove that he can be counted on every game
Caleb McConnell - prove that he can be more confident with the ball in his hands, be a better defender, better S&C, can he stay offensive efficient with more usage.
Montez Mathis - prove that he can have a role in a half court offense, be more consistent mentally, improve outside shot, be more consistent defensively on a possession by possession basis. He needs to prove that he should be on the floor, but too many games he is a liability offensively.
Geo Baker- others have said
Ron Harper Jr.- prove he can take the next step and improve S&C, can he stay in front of perimeter players, can he take next step and create a role as the 4th perimeter player, can he defensive rebound better? Like caleb can he stay offensive efficient with more usage?
Eugene - all about the knee
Kiss - has a lot to do
