I saw both duals, and UNI really pounded OSU on top, while Iowa State got their butts handed to them by OSU in all positions.Oklahoma State who was just beaten by UNI

Great analysis ...I don't think the jury is out whether he is done or not.He may not have been ready and what everyone says about him not redshirting maybe true.I personally think he is a little burnt. At first,I thought he looked very disinterested and didn't seem to have any sense of urgency to get out from bottom.I gave it some thought and maybe the pressure to perform as a freshman has a caused a mental block.Look, the kid is only freshman and wrestling in front of 5000 crazy fans. Its not like wrestling in front of 300 to 400 at Pope John. Also, the kid is under the microscope, because of his #1 recruit status and heir apparent to Ashnault. I think we as fans should just lay off the kid and give him some time. The coaches will talk to him.The wrestlers read these boards, and we don't need them feeling any worse than they already do.
I’m sure the kid is deflated especially if he reads these forums ..I know for a fact some do and tho I get mashed for it I just don’t get the relentless reference to his redshirt decision and the bashing he takes because of it ..it’s done ..it’s over with ..move on ..every time he loses it’s rehashed and rehashed ..he is a kid for Gods sake ..I don’t know how or why the decision was made and frankly right now I don’t care ...let’s get behind the kid for a change and support him the way we are supposed to ....FYI ...he didn’t lose the match for us ..the team lost ..end of story !I don't think the jury is out whether he is done or not.He may not have been ready and what everyone says about him not redshirting maybe true.I personally think he is a little burnt. Have you ever wrestled? Your taught from day 1 to get to a base and get up (stand up) peel hands and get free (separate from opponent) not much more to say its a fight thats pretty simple.
Nothing for nothing but that ref really had it out for him. If you look at the match, you'll see the ref looking over at the clock. Pretty much just timing his stall calls so they didn't look too obvious. If this was another circumstance,Delvecchio would have never won that match. Whoever was on his side that day gave him a blessing. I've never ever seen that many stall calls in a match within that time frame. That was one of the strangest moments I've seen in college wrestling. Guy goes from pulling off a flying squirrel into a Kimona on Micic to literally playing dead with Scott. I know all about the guys situation with Asperger syndrome, but at that moment I thought he was going through some sort of mental break.
