for all the psu fans that gave us crap for how we treated their fans, **** them. There were certainly some nice older people who welcomed us but most fans 50 and below were just douche bags.

At half I went down to the concourse to get food and had multiple penn state fans jump in my face and confront me. So I had enough and tossed one against the handrail and got swarmed by security.

I really dislike that school, and fanbase. I will be making their lives a living hell next year.

Proud of you man!

I've been telling you guys for 3 years now that Beaver is a f*cking shithole filled with douche bags. Maybe someday people will start listening to me. Now, that being said, you can't go attacking another fan and NOT expect to get kicked out.

I knew i'd get kicked out but this guy was asking for a beating. He's lucky all i did was push him out of my face when i couldve re-arranged his face.

I find it hard to believe a random group of fans came up to you and starting yelling in your face for no absolute reason. You're telling me you didn't ignite it or say anything back to escalate the whole thing?
For perspective they were probably 25 and psu just brike a long run to make it 21-0 and they were drunk. So stop asking questions and **** them

So im walking around minding my own business and some drunk asshole gets in my fave but it's my fault? Nice, makes sense dude

You actually restrained yourself . That jerk o## should have had his arse kicked.
You did the right thing.

exact reason I didn't go to this game. I understand your situation. I probably would have done the exact same thing so I choose to "stay inside".

Opposite of my experience. There fans were nothing but fine to us

Same as my 8 other ru-PSU road trips to state college over last 30 years plus
I have found that fan bases like/tolerate opponent fans knowing that they will win the game.Where there is a real rivalry the animosity is more profound.

Yes, self defense is justified under the law, in pretty every jurisdiction, under the moral code too, only when you fear significant and imminent bodily harm. It's not excusing their behavior, drunks are jerks by definition, but I suspect you had a pretty short fuse last night based on how the game was shaking out.

Oh great. We can't wait.
So if someone when chest to chest with you and yelled in your face to the point where you were getting their spit on your face you'd do nothing.

How did you end up chest to chest with them? I would have walked away long before that. And if somehow I ended up in that situation, I would have walked away then.

You assault a drunk man? Have some self control man. A time for payback will come, have to wait for it.

You're kidding, right. I've seen lots of this crap....especially at Pedd St.
What I wanna know is if the kid wet his pants when you put your hands on him ?
Pedd St. fans are notorious for that.

You gonna hope the same group of guys come to the game, find them, and beat your chest?

Indeed, walk away, then run away... If really, need be, the

All I can tell you, is this walk away, then run away if need be... Fights are not minor things, people get hurt, people get arrested, people get sued... Retired, now , but held a shodon belt - and would avoid any issues.

I got punched in the head in Kenmore Square the night the Giants beat the Patriots.

I think I was being the drunk happy as hole in that situation though. Probably deserved it.

Meh. If I started $%!t with every one off piece of trash that got in my face last night (typically with a North Jersey accent) I'd be exhausted before the students finished walking by. Luckily there were a thousand genuinely nice people for every dbag.

I think more than half of the folks who travel to conf road games only go to rub a loss in the home teams face and not really to enjoy the victory. Folks who travel to these are asking to get their come upin's

Not one issue at all last night. People treated us well. Besides one 'Buttgers' comment all other interactions with their fans were them welcoming us out there, asking how we were being treated or asking about our team.

Even assuming your story is 100% accurate (which I doubt) what good will making their lives a living hell do? So some random PSU fans ruined your night so in turn it makes sense to pick some random fans next year so you ruin their night? That sounds completely rational and mature.

I left with a lot of respect for Penn State and their fans. We set up our tailgate and I asked if it would be okay if I "borrowed" a bit of extra room to set up our cornhole boards. They obliged and we had a few "RU vs Penn State" matches (We won those). Everyone we came across treated us very well.

We did have one incident in the stadium with a couple of younger guys getting a a bit aggressive verbally with us.

One series later and I glance around. They weren't there anymore. A woman holding a baby next to where they were sitting apologize s and said "Thank you" for letting that stuff slide.

Fan in front of me called my younger brother a p**sy under his breath. Didn't confront the guy because I wasn't going to deal with that bs all game.

Look, they're nice when they're winning and in the beginning of the game because they're dismissive towards Rutgers football.

They're all closet douches.
