Not a Laviano fan but he did have an okay day. He let some passes get away early but seemed to settle down. What I liked today was he kept the ball on the read option and ran it, not great running, but he kept defense honest. He still needs work but I would give hi a C grade today.
Defense did a hell of a job today. They are getting better as a group. Still have to improve their shoddy tackling late in the game.
Not bashing the kid because hes still a kid. But Laviano shouldve tied the game in the fourth:
-It wouldve been 6 if he threw that ball earlier on that go route that went over the receiver's head.
-He had the cross route WIDE OPEN if he threw in that in stride instead of throwing that WTF throwback down the sideline.
Rutgers is getting there. EVERYONE just got to figure their ish out.
